The national Key Stage 4 (GCSE) league tables are out – and Camp Hill Boys have excelled. Our Attainment 8 figure of 81.7 was only bettered by 3 London grammars – two girls’ schools and one boys’ school. (An Attainment 8 figure of 81.7 means that, on average, our boys achieved a grade 8 in their best 8 GCSEs. Grade 8 spans the top of the old A and the bottom of the old A*.)
Progress 8 compares the progress of our students between Year 6 and GCSEs with students of a similar ability nationally. Our figure was 1, meaning that, on average, our boys achieved one grade higher in each GCSE than similar boys at other schools.
