The Association of friends of the School is the schools Parent Teacher Association. Each year it raises around £30,000 to provide some of the little extras that this state school struggles to find from its annual grant. The members also give their time and expertise to support some of the schools events. Whatever help you feel able to give, will be gratefully received!
Listed below are some of the tasks they take on:
- Parking cars at school events
- Serving refreshments at Parents meeting/events
- Helping with Sports Teas
- Organising 100 Club
- Organising and running AFS social events
