SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR
For King Edward VI Camp Hill Schools
From: March 2023
Salary: SCP 21-23, (£28,900 - £30,151) Full Time; Mon-Fri,
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Concessionary Days
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person with a flexible approach to working hours, to join our in-house facilities team.
The role will involve working closely with the Facilities Manager to assist in the delivery of a professional, efficient and sustainable facilities support service. The role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the in-house Cleaning and Porter services, ensuring that the schools maintain a clean and safe environment in line with recognised best practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the way services are delivered going forward to ensure that they are delivered in an efficient and professional way whilst meeting the needs of the schools.
The successful candidate will also be required to deliver in-house training associated with providing Cleaning and Porter services, general Health and Safety practices, as well as recognised best working practices and techniques associated with delivering a professional cleaning service.
Anyone wishing to apply will need to provide evidence that they have experience in managing in-house teams delivering similar services.

CLEANING OPERATIVES

We are looking for Cleaning operatives to join our Site team. Various Positions available working either:
Mornings 06.00 – 08.00 or Evenings Monday – Friday 16.00 – 19.00
Full training provided to successful applicants
To provide a clean and pleasant environment in order to facilitate the effective teaching of pupils and its full use by those staff and pupils who occupy it

LUNCH TIME SUPERVISOR
Required from October 2022
Term Time Including Teacher Training Days
10 hours per week, £9.99ph
Part Time Mon - Fri 12.15 - 14.15 Monday - Friday Term Time + 2 training days
Lunch time supervisors are managed by the Senior Site Supervisor as part of the FM team assisting the Head teacher and his / her nominees in securing the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday breaks. This will involve effective supervision of pupils in and about the premises and site(s) of the schools. All Lunch time supervisors will work on a weekly rota basis to cover the areas (inside and outside) as required and provide adequate supervision throughout the lunch time period. We are seeking to appoint a hard working School Porter Under the daily direction of the Estates Manager, Senior Site Supervisor to provide a proactive and efficient Portering service across the King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys and King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls. To help maintain the security of the site and its facilities. To undertake the movement of furniture set up rooms as required to facilitate meetings, or activities such as shows or rehearsals or internal exams.
